Description
Yin yoga is a slow-paced yoga style that involves holding passive, floor-based poses for extended periods (3-10 minutes or more) to target the deep connective tissues, such as fascia, ligaments, and joints. The practice emphasises quiet introspection, breath awareness, and finding a gentle “edge” in the stretch without straining, promoting flexibility, relaxation, and a calmer mind by focusing on areas rich in connective tissue like the hips, pelvis, and spine.
